## Thrive course Economists for the future, delves deep into current economic news to help you understand how decisions made by governments, banks, large organisations and even the average investor impacts our everyday lives.

By taking current Australian economic issues, comparing them to similar historical events, finding relevant economic theory and then discussing this with financial experts across the country like Alan Kohler and Chris Richardson, we will aim to become informed economists for the future. Understanding pressing topics in our current Australia market post Covid-19, such as the cost-of-living crisis, rising interest rates, inflation, the implications of a housing shortage and the impact of the Ukraine war on the global economy will soon have you recognising the complexities of predicting outcomes when you combine economic theory, international relations, and politics. Our passionate course facilitator will guide students through real-world events and their economic significance.
