Akram holds a triple major: law (hons), science and sociology (hons).  He is currently working on his PhD in sociology.
Akram holds a triple major: law (hons), science and sociology (hons).  He is currently working on his PhD in sociology.  In 2013 Akram was named Young Australian of the Year in recognition of his community service and mentoring work. In that year, he made 1,000 speeches, speaking to more than 300,000 Australians in person.

**Akram Azimi** holds a triple major: law (hons), science and sociology (hons). He is currently working on his PhD in sociology. In 2013 Akram was named Young Australian of the Year in recognition of his community service and mentoring work. In that year, he made 1,000 speeches, speaking to more than 300,000 Australians in person. Over the last decade, Akram has taught law, science, sociology, epistemology and community service. Akram feels very lucky because he has found his life’s passion: teaching. He is currently a lecturer in corporations law at Murdoch University, the Scholar in Residence at Scotch College.
